I say Cavs in 6

But seriously, I think the Kevin Durant factor is just too high. Golden State was already pretty much the best team in the league without him, but if he starts posting almost 40 points a game, I don't see what the Cavs can do to shut him down, next shut Curry down and the rest.

I'm cringing though at all the traveling they don't call.
That coast to coast from KD, OMG  He blocks the the ball and dribbles to the side, tops and takes the ball in his hands. Next he just dribbles again as if nothing happened

The Warriors are definitely something to watch.  I've always liked KD, so glad he is getting duly appreciated.

LeBron can also score at will, at least till he runs out of gas, but even then they're are often scoring 2 points and giving up 3 on the other end, and even he seems to be spent by the end of the third quarter with everything they need him to do on both ends.

LeBron is indeed unstoppable. And I actually feel for him because I love that Cavs team. They play a great physical but clean game. It's just that Golden State just answers by dropping threes all night long. And that starts to wear out a team since they have to put much more effort into keeping up.

The Warriors are more my thing, and I've never been a big LeBron fan, but you certainly have to respect him.

Warriors are playing better defense and the Cavs when they do get good looks at 3 pointers are not nailing them like they did against Boston.

What if they wore gabardine uniforms and announcers talked with a weird warbled voices and game were broke up into 26 periods taking place very 10 months?

I'd be all over it.

I hope you are right. On the Cavs in 6 that is...

But I don't see it happening.

Well, maybe. They did turn it around last year somehow.
Parent - - By Tommeke Date 2017-06-07 10:05 AM
3-1 :wink::cool:

They broke the momentum of GSW hard last year. But I just don't see it happening this year either with KD in the mix.

Steph Curry is also healthy this year whereas last year he was playing while injured.

Binky Boy is also healthy this year whereas last year he was playing while injured.

Corrected that for you.

Tommeke, will watch part of the game tonight because I will be on the cardio machines at the gym and need something to get my mind off the fact that I'm working up a sweat and not actually going anywhere.

Am not paying much attention to theses finals.  It's like watching a remake of a movie, except for adding one additional actor to the third version.  We all know how it will end.

Without giving out any spoilers, I just saw a 10 minutes resume of all the scores.
It's ridiculous how much of it is traveling. Probably half of the scores are, especially when going to the basket.
And when you see all these scores one after the other, on both sides, it's just too much.

They really should start calling players taking 4 steps for a lay-up, everyone can penetrate like that.:roll::roll::roll:

That's how they've been calling traveling for many years, though.
Parent - By Tommeke Date 2017-06-08 10:37 AM
It is, but the players are just pushing the boundaries every time.
They're not calling 3 steps, so now they are taking 4-5

LeBron takes 3 steps to the basket e-v-e-r-y time. It's not a basketball game anymore, it's a circus.

check this out:wtf:

YIPPEE !

From what I can tell, they haven't made any decisions yet because they haven't been invited yet.  Trump being Trump, he'd probably peevishly not invite them if he thinks they wouldn't come (plus I don't get the sense that basketball is his thing -- can't imagine why), so it may end up being a very peculiar yet of-the-times game of chicken.
Parent - By Tommeke Date 2017-06-14 4:38 PM
At this stage, we can already assume that whatever he asks, if he asks, and whatever they respond he will tweet something ridiculous about it and his supporters will just buy it anyway.
Parent - By Tommeke Date 2017-06-14 4:36 PM
good for them!
