Total bust on the TM run last night but not for the expected reasons
I got there, got changed & my back cooperated...but as soon as I got on the TM my foot cramped up. I got off 2-3 times and stretched, changed redid my shoe laces etc. but my foot was having none of it - no matter how quickly it released off the TM, as soon as I started running it cramped up again.
I've had a lot of issues with muscle cramps recently which are probably caused by thyroid issues (my last test had my TSH at 61 so my meds have been increased & I'm trying to be better with eating low carb/no starches) but this is the first time it's forced me to halt a workout - of course it's also the first time in months I've used the TM.
I only plan to run 4x a week with a stretch goal of 5x so I'm not too worried about missing last night. And worst case next week on site I can run on the indoor track as all the mid-week runs are 2-2.5 miles which isn't impossible at 15 circuits to a mile.
Anyway, tonight is run club if I can leave work early enough, followed by personal training
