6.3 miles with 1x1.5 controlled hard. I have no idea where I would expect to be pace wise for any kind of speed work, so I ran by effort and waited to see what that amounted to.
First interval came out to a 7:20 pace and I thought that was great. Second interval I probably spent too much mental effort worried I ran the first one too hard but ended up with a 7:09 pace.
I actually brought a few of my many running books back upstairs and looked at a couple marathon training plans. Haven't found any I thought even remotely fit me. Go figure.

Ran the second threshold mile by HR and finished slow: 8:57
Avg of the 2: 8:44 (which is my exact LT according to my Vdot )

2 mile run this morning, just so I can say I did something. I haven't wanted to run or ride much lately. 3 or 4 days a week, short distance, just so I can say I did something. It's all getting very hard.

I'm glad you got out there....

7.7 on the mill easy tonight. I've got a little ball of foot pain and so I've got my foot in a bucket of ice water. Ever done that with a dog around? She's sticking her whole snout in the water and eating all the ice.
I don't know how you are running these miles!! Please be careful!!
