Alright all you Hotties out there. Is anyone cool like Fonzie today?
Parent - - By OldAndInTheWay Date 2017-07-13 7:01 AM
Heat warning today. Not sure what its going up to. 95-100 or so I think.
Ran 11.17 miles this morning. 9 mile progression run. 10 second cut down per mile. 9:00 to 7:40, 2 mile c/d. The 1st mile was a few second too slow. the next 8 were 5-10 seconds too fast

Chilln inside for the rest of the day.
Eric (9) has been at a French and Indian war camp all week. He is on the Redcoat-British side. Been wearing a wool uniform all week. Good for him...toughen him up some.

It actually didn't feel to uncomfortable out there while running...go figure
Parent - - By runnergeel [us] Date 2017-07-13 8:05 AM
 your kidding right?
Parent - - By OldAndInTheWay Date 2017-07-13 8:11 AM
Seriously, it wasn't that bad out. Maybe I'm getting used to it. Most days I run at noon. So 630 to 8am was okay
Parent - By runnergeel [us] Date 2017-07-13 9:07 AM
gotcha.

Your kid is at war camp, and my 2 are at Farm Camp (as in they learn about and work with animals at/on a farm)

Good Morning! No walking or running for me this morning, but I did get a workout trying on clothes to see what I'm wearing to see Sir Paul tonight! True story-can't make this stuff up-heard in the Robbins home this morning-"I don't know what top I'm wearing tonight but I'm DEFINITELY wearing the good boob!!":laugh::laugh:

Have a good one folks and stay cool!:cool:
Parent - By OldAndInTheWay Date 2017-07-13 7:13 AM
"good boob" :laugh::laugh::cool::cool:
Parent - - By runnergeel [us] Date 2017-07-13 7:29 AM
what's a good boob?
Parent - - By pamruns [us] Date 2017-07-13 7:51 AM
Since I haven't had reconstruction yet...I have a prosthetic boob, but it's not the most comfortable thing in the world while I have burns and blisters from radiation....it looks quite natural though-much more so than simply stuffing......!!! Probably TMI for some folks, but sometimes it's good for a laugh here in the Robbins house!! LOL!
Parent - - By runnergeel [us] Date 2017-07-13 8:06 AM
gotcha. I didn't even think of that. I'm sorry.
Parent - - By pamruns [us] Date 2017-07-13 8:09 AM
No problem! Sometimes they do reconstruction right away, but they wanted to wait until I was done with radiation. Soon I will have the boobs of a 30 y/o! Only problem is the rest of me looks about 90 now!!:grin::laugh:

Thursday the 13th today and since I'm off work tomorrow that could make today unlucky. :wtf:

I ran 5.14 this morning. 77° and 74° dew point.  Pretty brutal.

My tablet dried out and I was able to charge it up and use it again.  Seems like it is no worse for the wear.

I guess I'll just see what work I can get done today.
Parent - By runnergeel [us] Date 2017-07-13 7:30 AM
:shocker!::shocker!: your weather is worse than here. glad to hear your tablet is playing nice again.
Parent - By ironjen Date 2017-07-13 9:39 AM
The temps in our neck of the woods was 1 degree off yours for both temp and dew point this morning at 7. It's much hotter/grosser now though. Dew point has only gone down 2.

today I struggled. 9.44 miles about 30 seconds off pace. it is awful out there today.

boy at camp. girl still sleeping.
Parent - - By pamruns [us] Date 2017-07-13 7:58 AM
I don't know how you do it! I walked outside with Charlie (doggy) and I couldn't wait to get back inside!

Funny how those teens like to sleep the day away! Conor is at the beach with a friend but when he's home,  he sleeps part of the day....then plays X-BOX with a friend in his room or is working for my neighbor, so it's not like we see him that much these days anyway!
Parent - By runnergeel [us] Date 2017-07-13 8:07 AM
exactly what I am going through. last night the girl said: apparently I am my most productive at midnight.

I had grand plans today to mow, run and bike. Got the mowing done but effed up my back. Badly :mutmad::cry:

Oh, no!

hot hot hot.   actually it was sort of cool but way humid this am.  I did 3 hours of yard work while it was overcast.    the sun is out in full force now though so I'm in for the rest of the day.   I did 2 yoga you tubes.   One for the psoas  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JsE4csvlUfA  (Karen - lots of lunges) and the other which was more fun was called core and booty.

There is a club run tonight but I told my husband to run it without me.

Hello again!

Busy morning-- cardio and abs/upper core videos this morning, book club and now finally home.  I was hungry and immediately made myself lunch.  Now I am going to see what happened in the world this morning while I was busy.

Have a good day all.  Pam enjoy your concert!
